My mother got Guillian Barre Syndrome on our last trip in 10. She can not sleep in a bed. Are the pull out chairs at ASM suites comfortable for sleeping? Any other hotels that may have a chair to sleep in? Other places to rent & delivered to resort

Hi Christina. I am so sorry you have challenges when choosing a Disney resort for your next vacation. I will try to help you navigate the different resorts and what they offer.

There are sleeper chairs in the All Star Family Suites and sleeper sofas and table bed in the new Art of Animation resort. The sleeper chairs are small...I am not sure if your mother can recline fully or she is looking for something that she can sleep sitting up. They were basically designed for children so they are not wide or long. You can also find sleepr chairs in some of the Deluxe Villa resorts such as the Animal Kingdom villas.

Other options you might consider are the sleeper sofas that you can find in most of the Deluxe Villas. They are lower to the floor then a normal bed if that would help with the issue. There are also day beds in some of the deluxe resort rooms...look for booking a room that can sleep five. Again these are lower beds as by day they are small sofas and by night they will be a bed.

Some resorts have cots available but none will allow you to rent and bring a bed into the room. It becomes a matter of storage of the furniture in the room plus fire safety that a room is not blocking exits etc. Please look over the room types that are available for five persons or more at the website, www.disneyworld.com. See if one of these resort rooms can fit the needs for your family.
