Hi! My mother and I are going on a girls trip to Disneyland in March. Can you recommend restaurants for us in Disneyland and California Adventure? And maybe on in a resort/downtown Disney?

    Hi Angela!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing your question our way!

A trip to the Disneyland Resort with your mom sounds like a blast! I’m starting to plan a girls' trip with my mom and my sisters for next year! I can't wait to spend time with them at "The Happiest Place on Earth!"

I’m also a self-proclaimed foodie so I have plenty of recommendations for places to eat! Let’s start with my favorite place to eat in the entire Resort! If you’re like me, you love a good brunch with the gals! The weekend brunch at Lamplight Lounge is my absolute favorite! The Potato Flautas are delicious and filling! I like to wash them down with a delicious Beermosa! Make sure to secure a reservation if you want to enjoy this tasty option.

In Downtown Disney, my recommendation is Salt & Straw! This spot is great when you're in the mood for something sweet! Head to this ice cream shop to try a double scoop of Freckled Mint TCHO-colate Chip and Dandelion Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies & Cream! You won’t be disappointed! For convenience, I ask for my ice cream in a cup with a sugar cone on top.

My favorite hotel restaurant is Napa Rose in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel! This upscale eatery is perfect for a fancy girls’ night out! Dress up and enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine from their extensive drink menu. If you’d like to enjoy dinner, you’ll want to make a reservation in advance! If you’re feeling extra fancy, make a reservation at the Chef’s Counter and have the menu curated to specifically suit your tastes.

I hope this helps you start planning your fun-filled trip with your mom. Head back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you need additional advice for your upcoming trip!

    Cheers,
