Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, LaDawn!
Your mom rocks for being committed to her learning, even during vacation! I love that you’re getting all the logistics worked out so that she can get down to business, get that class work done, and then head out for the best time ever with you at Walt Disney World. Three chEARs for her! Belle would be proud.
There is indeed complimentary wi-fi internet access in the Walt Disney World Resorts, but you’re right that Disney’s All-Star Resorts do not feature business centers. My advice is to stop by your resort’s front desk and inquire about printing. Depending on how much printing she needs to do, it might be possible to print from there, or she may need to visit another resort’s
business center.
The closest business center to your resort will be the one at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, although this is not easily accessible unless you have your own vehicle. When she needs to focus on her class, it might make sense for her to take a resort bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then walk or monorail to
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, where there are lots of great quiet spots to settle into with a laptop, and an on-site business center. On a recent visit, I had some work to get done, and I set my laptop up in my resort’s food court, where I had access to wi-fi, snacks, drinks, and an outlet for as long as I needed. Let me tell you: working while chomping on a Disney cupcake really made the work feel a little more magical.
LaDawn, I see that your visit with your mom is just about a month away, and I’m so excited for the two of you. I hope you enjoy your together time and make so many magical memories together!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
