MY mother is coming with us in September and she is in a wheelchair. Are there rides that will allow her to ride while in her chair or will she have to get into a regular seat on the ride?

    Hi Robin,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  We're glad you're hEAR!

Disney World is a great place for guests with special needs to visit. They are so awesome at assisting Guests that they have devoted a section on their website to Guests with Disabilities

There are some attractions in every park that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs & others that require Guests to transfer in order to board the attraction. You can find a list on the Guests with Mobility Disabilities section.

Be sure to pick up a Guide for Guests with Disabilities at Guests Relations when you enter the parks. You can also download them prior to your trip at the Guests with Disabilities link shown above.

Let us know if you have additional questions. We are super happy to assist you make this an awesome trip.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
