    Hello! My mother and I are coming to Epcot for the 50th anniversary, and in addition to allergies, we are both vegan. First time booking at Chefs de France and La Hacienda de San Angel, and I'm wondering vegan lunch, dinner, and dessert options? Thanks

    Hi, there!

     Welcome to planDisney, Emilee. I'm super excited to hear you're planning to visit EPCOT for The World's Most Magical Celebration! You and your mom are sure to make incredible memories together.

     It sounds like you and your mom have plans to dine "around the world." What fun! Let's chat about what your vegan options may be at the restaurants you've booked and how to make sure your dietary needs and preferences are met. 

     Chefs de France, a charming brasserie in the France pavilion, serves French cuisine with incredible views of World Showcase Lagoon. Your meal will start with a complimentary bread service including a warm baguette and olive oil for dipping. While the menu changes seasonally, Chefs de France does offer a vegan Ratatouille, which I think would be the perfect entrée to enjoy before experiencing Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, opening the DAY of your visit! I'm not aware of vegan dessert menu options, but as I mentioned earlier, menus are seasonal and subject to change. Your Server will be able to share the most up-to-date options with you!

     At La Hacienda de San Angel, you'll again have a beautiful view of World Showcase Lagoon while dining under warm globe lamps and star lanterns. You'll start with complimentary warm chips paired with fresh salsa. YUM! The vegan entrée offered is plant-based "chicken" enchiladas served with black beans and modified rice. Again, I'm not aware of any vegan desserts, but the menu is subject to change at any time.

     I encourage you to reach out to the Special Diets Team before your visit this week. They can address your allergies in relation to your vegan preferences. Simply email them at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. A friendly Cast Member will then get in touch with you to help you make sure you have a delicious and safe experience dining in World Showcase!

     Be sure to include Harmonious in your plans at EPCOT. This brand-new show is one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for Disney Parks, and it's not to be missed!
