Hi Michell,
Welcome to planDisney!
It’s so exciting to hear that your family is planning to have a grand vacation this summer. I did something like this a few years ago, and there were so many great memories made!
Michell, have you tried entering that barcode into the My Disney Experience mobile app? Typically, guests are given individual barcodes for their Theme Park tickets, but my guess is that all of your 10 tickets are linked under that one barcode. It may be as easy as entering that barcode into one family member's My Disney Experience account, then adding the names to each ticket.
If you don’t already have the
My Disney Experience mobile app, I suggest you download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once signed in, you’ll first want to make sure all the guests in your party are on your Family & Friends List. To do this, from the home screen of the My Disney Experience mobile app, press the three horizontal lines in the lower right-hand corner, scroll to the bottom and select “My Profile”. Next, select “Family & Friends List” and there you will be able to add each member of your party.
Once they are all added, it’s time to link your barcode. You’ll want to click the three lines in the lower right-hand corner of the My Disney Experience mobile app again. Then scroll to the bottom and click “Link to Account”, select “Link Tickets or Passes”, and under “Ticket or Pass”, you will be able to add that barcode. Once it’s entered, hopefully all 10 of the tickets will pop up under “Tickets and Passes”. If successful, you’ll be able to click under each individual ticket and add a name from your Family & Friends List. If for some reason it doesn’t work, Hakuna Matata,
you can speak with a Cast Member at the Existing Tickets help desk!
Once your Theme Park tickets are fully linked, I suggest you book your
Disney Park Pass reservations. Disney Park Passes work in tandem with your Theme Park ticket to allow you entrance into the Theme Parks. Each of your party will need one Disney Park Pass with their ticket for each of the 10 days. Trying to see the future availability of all the Theme Parks?
Check out the Theme Park Reservation calendar!
When you get to the Walt Disney World Resort in June, you can go to Guest Services to redeem individual card tickets for each family member so everyone can have their own ticket. You can also utilize
Disney MagicMobile Service which allows you to create digital versions of your ticket and add them to your phone's digital wallet.
I know that was a ton of information, but I’m hoping these “Bits By Bryanna” are helpful as you prepare for your great, big, beautiful Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
If you have any other planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
