Disney Newport Bay Club, it's one of my family’s favourites and is such a short walk to Disney Village and the Disney Parks. Upgrades may be available at the front desk when you check in, subject to availability. However, rooms with additional beds are a higher-cost room category, so there would likely be an additional charge if one is available. I would recommend amending your booking before you arrive to avoid disappointment.
The room types you may want to look at are either a Superior Family Room with 2 double beds and 1 sofa bed, or a Compass Club Family Room with 2 double beds and 1 child sofa bed. Just keep in mind that if you move from a Compass Club room to a Superior Family Room, you would not have the additional Compass Club benefits, such as breakfast included. If you choose this option, you may like to consider adding a Meal Plan too.
One of my favourite spots at Newport Bay is the
Captain’s Quarters. I highly recommend stopping by during your stay for a coffee or a cocktail. It’s such a peaceful spot, with great views across Lake Disney!
