My mother has always wanted to go to Disney but has never been able to spend the $ on herself. We are bringing her in Dec. She is so excited! This will be her only trip to Disney.I've heard of 1st visit badges. What else can make her visit extra special?

What a fabulous way to spend time with your mother and make one of her dreams come true too!

Yes, you can certainly get her a First Visit button by stopping at City Hall in the Magic Kingdom.

I would also recommend checking out the gift baskets that can be ordered via the Disney Florist.

Make sure to use PhotoPass and get lots of pictures with the family and some of just your Mom enjoying the magic of Walt Disney World.

Perhaps you could order her a personalized cake and have "First Visit" or "Dreams Come True" written in delicious icing. The Cake Hotline is at 407-827-2253. Allow 48 hours notice and be sure to check on current prices and ideas.

Mom might enjoy a spa treatment and/or afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian.

Encourage her to wear Mickey ears!

Have a character meal and let your Mom be the center of attention. A hug from Winnie the Pooh is great for all ages. Having your Mom addressed as Queen while dining at Cinderella's Royal Table would be a royal treat.

Take things slow. Enjoy the vacation and make magical memories!
