Welcome to planDisney, Laura. We're always super happy to help with any Walt Disney World questions, and I'm so glad you've brought yours here today.
Laura, I'm hoping you have been able to take advantage of some of the
wonderful offers from the U.K. and see that you are due at Walt Disney World in August.
Importantly, to enter any of the Theme Parks at the moment, you will need a valid ticket and a date-specific theme park reservation via the
Disney Park Pass system. You won't need to reserve water parks currently.
I highly suggest making these reservations as soon as possible to ensure you are getting access to the park you want when you want. With the
Magic Ticket available from the U.K. when your reservations are in place, you can reenter the Theme Parks throughout the day or hop to a different park after 2 p.m.
If you haven't already done so, please download the
My Disney Experience App. It helps to get the most out of your days, and it's ideal to get the hang of it ahead of your trip. If you have any questions about
My Disney Experience, you can always pop back here for help.
Another thing worth thinking about ahead of time is dining.
Advanced Dining Reservations (bookable through My Disney Experience) open 60 days ahead of your desired dining date. If you feel you must dine at a particular venue,
Cinderella's Royal Table, for example, I suggest booking as soon as possible.
Have you heard Walt Disney World's exciting recent news?
TRON Lightcycle / Run will be open for your visit. It's one of the fastest-ever coasters at Walt Disney World. I, for one, cannot wait to experience this ride.
Laura, it sounds like you're just beginning the planning adventure for your Walt Disney World trip, so please know that I am here and would love to help in any way I can. Louise
