Morning! We went on a cruise in Nov. Unfortunately when we got home the ornament we bought was broken and now as we set up our Christmas decor, our kids were disappointed we couldn’t put the ornament on the tree. Is there a way to purchase a new one?

Ahoy there, Michael! Welcome back ashore and welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you sailed by with this question, and I would be honored to help you try to bring a little holiday magic back to your home.

Collecting an ornament from each of my Disney Cruise Line vacations is one of my favorite traditions too, so it is a real Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer that yours broke. I know how special those keepsakes can be, especially when little eyes are eagerly waiting to see them on the tree again.

While hopping back on the ship to pick up a new one sounds like a dream, there is an easier path. I recommend reaching out to Disney Parks Merchandise Guest Services. You can call them at (800) 951-3532 or try emailing shop@disneypark.com. While they cannot guarantee availability, they are wonderful about guiding Guests toward possible replacements or similar items.

In the meantime, you might want to browse the holiday offerings at the Disney Store online. They have some festive finds this season, and if you happen to be a Disney Visa Cardmember, you may also see special savings in your inbox. And as a fun tip for your next sailing, linking your Disney Visa to your stateroom account gives you an extra ten percent discount on merchandise purchases onboard.

If you’re dreaming about planning another cruise, the “Special Offers” tab on the Disney Cruise Line website is worth checking often. When travel dates are flexible, you can sometimes save up to thirty percent on select itineraries, which makes leveling up your Castaway Club status even sweeter.

Michael, I hope you and your family feel a little extra Pixie Dust this season, and if any other questions pop up, my pals and I will always be here to help you at planDisney.

    Embrace the magic,
    Sami
