Can you use morning extra magic hours on the day you check in to a hotel? Just leave your bags at the bell desk and go to the park until the room is ready?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, PJ! It is our pleasure to help us plan your vacation to the Walt Disney World and help you make the most of it!

Of course, you can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours on the day you check in to your Disney Resort Hotel! Simply, leave your bags with Bell Services and hop on a bus to go directly to the Park offering this exclusive benefit to Disney Resort Hotel guests. When your room is ready, you'll receive a text indicating so. At that point, you can choose to come back to your Resort Hotel to get into your room and settle in OR if you're like me, you can choose to stay for more fun at the parks and decide to not come back until after fireworks!

Be sure to wear your MagicBand since you might be asked to get yours scanned to verify you are indeed a Disney Resort Hotel guest. Check out this link for more information regarding this exclusive benefit, such as what rides are open during that time frame at each Park.

I hope this comes in handy, PJ! If you have more questions, please come back as many times as you need to; we love to help!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
