Jennifer from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

This morning, We cancelled our Disneyland tickets for today that we paid and booked a month ago. Do we just book for another day with that credit? I just want to be sure that since we cancelled the day of, we don’t lose our tickets for another day.

Hey there, Jennifer! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I’m sorry to hear your plans changed, and the magic will have to wait a bit before you experience it.

When you cancel a reservation, the ticket remains linked to your account for future use. A wholly unused ticket typically has a long runway to use it. For instance, one-day tickets purchased now through the Disneyland website or the Disneyland mobile app are valid through December 30, 2024. You can contact Ticket Services to confirm the exact expiration date of your tickets.

The magic will be waiting for you once you’re ready for it. Once you have a date in mind, simply log in to your Disneyland account, go to My Disneyland, Ticket and Reservations, Make a Park Reservation, and proceed from there.

I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season and wishing you a fantastic 2023!
