Hi Monica, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! As a fellow
Disney Vacation Club member, I love Moonlight Magic events. There’s no better way to show appreciation for us DVC members than shutting down a whole park just for us. From the low wait times on rides to the rare character meet and greets and all the free Mickey ice cream bars, these events are a family favorite in my household! Now, let’s talk through what we know about upcoming Moonlight Magic dates!
Monica, unfortunately DVC has not yet released the dates for
Moonlight Magic events in 2027. But don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll hear news soon since the last scheduled Moonlight Magic just wrapped up this past week! While it’s certainly not any guarantee that dates will be similar, there was one Moonlight Magic event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in mid-January, so there’s still hope that one will align with your upcoming trip!
If nighttime exploration in the parks sounds like fun, don’t forget that staying in a DVC villa means you’ll have access to
Extended Evening Hours, which was continued through 2027! Additionally, you can also purchase tickets to
Disney After Hours events for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios!
Monica, I know this may not have been the answer you were looking for and I’m really hoping that any future announcements of Moonlight Magic dates coincide with your trip! Moonlight Magic is certainly one of my favorite benefits as a DVC member. If you have any further questions about getting the most out of your DVC membership, feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
