Hi Coralys,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. When drawing up a budget for your Walt Disney World vacation, it’s so important to check both room rates and ticket prices, as they can really vary depending on when you visit.
The easiest way to find out which dates fall in value season is to look at the
1-day theme park ticket calendar. It’s color-coded, and you can scroll through by month. If you click on a day in value, regular, and peak season, you’ll be able to play around and check prices for the date and number and type of tickets you are looking to purchase.
My fellow Moms Panelist Stacy does a great job
explaining when the value season dates typically occur, and how they line up with crowds. She also has a great tip at the end about finding Special Offers. Thinking economically as you make these early plans helps you make room for a little magic on your trip, like Dole Whips, Mickey Bars, and cute souvenirs – great payoffs for smart planning!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
