Hi, there!
Dana, this is all so exciting. A new baby on the way? A trip to the Walt Disney World Resort? I love everything about your question!
One of my favorite things about the Walt Disney World Resort is that the magic is perfect for ALL Guests. You'll be pleased to know that there are lots of
family-friendly attractions you can enjoy with your girls! In fact, there are only about 30 attractions that are listed with an
Expectant Mothers Advisory. You should certainly avoid those attractions, but the attractions that don't feature that advisory are perfect for you and your precious bump! It's always a good idea to consult with your doctor prior to your visit, though, just to be sure you won't have any special concerns.
I'm happy to share some additional tips with you for your upcoming vacation!
- If your kiddos hop on an attraction that posts an Expectant Mothers Advisory, find somewhere cool to wait. Depending on the attraction, you could be waiting up to an hour or more, so put those feet up! One of my favorite places to wait is the Briar Patch, a cute little shop next to Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. There you'll find a few comfortable rocking chairs and some much-needed air conditioning!
- Stay hydrated. You're welcome to take snacks and drinks into the theme parks with you, but keep in mind that complimentary cups of ice water are available at most Quick-Service dining locations!
- Schedule an Expectant Mother Massage at Senses - A Disney Spa and Salon at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. You deserve it, mama!
Please let me know if you have any other questions, Dana!
