Hey there, Rex! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home, neighbor! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your Disney Vacation Club question. It's always so fun to chat with a fellow Member!
Don't you just love being a DVC Member?! I know I do! Knowing that my next magical adventure is always just around the riverbend is priceless and my favorite thing about Membership. Having the flexibility to
bank or borrow Points to create an endless combination of dream vacations is just the pixie-dusted icing on the magical Membership cake! Points equal magic, so, let's chat about the expiration of banked Points so that not a single drop of magic goes to waste!
When you
bank your current Use Year's Vacation Points, you bank them into your next Use Year, which means that they will expire at the end of that Use Year. It extends the life of your Points for a whole year! For example, if you have a February Use Year and you bank your 2022 Vacation Points into your 2023 Use Year, your Points will then expire at the end of your 2023 Use Year on January 31, 2024.
Just keep in mind that Points can only be banked once, and your travel must occur before the expiration date. May no Point be left behind!
I hope this was helpful, Rex! Happy banking and booking, my friend! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning or DVC questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
Adventure is out there,
Mandy
