Mariana from São Paulo Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Hello! I have an 18-month-old daughter, I would like to know what the experience with this child is like. We booked the trip but I'm afraid I could not enjoy Disney parks. I would like tips please.

Greetings Mariana and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

As a Brazilian myself, I can definitely say that there is no better place for your 18-month-old princess – your family is going to make beautiful memories at the Walt Disney World Resort.

I recommend staying at a Disney Resort hotel to enjoy amazing benefits including complimentary transportation. This way you will be able to conveniently go back to your hotel during the day for that very important nap. In addition, don’t forget to rent a stroller from one of Disney Featured Providers like Kingdom Strollers or Magic Strollers, because you will be able to take it anywhere throughout the Walt Disney World Resort using complimentary transportation.

Mariana, all four theme parks offer Baby Care Centers, which are the perfect places to go for a diaper change, to feed or nurse your baby, to take a break, and even purchase baby items that we sometimes forget. To make the most of your visit, use Rider Switch with FastPass+. Rider Switch allows one adult to wait with the child while others in their group enjoy an attraction. Afterwards, this Guest can also enjoy the same attraction but without waiting in the regular line.

Moms Panel tip: plan 2 days to visit Magic Kingdom Park, where you will find most attractions are suited for your daughter.

It has been a pleasure answering your question. Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel in Portuguese next time so that we may continue to assist you in our beautiful language.

    Best magical wishes,
