Hello and welcome to planDisney, Randy!
We’re happy to have you hEAR planning your next trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. With the celebrations for
Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary lasting 18 months, next April you’ll still be able to experience this extra Magic! I’m most excited to see the newest nighttime spectacular:
Disney Enchantment and if you’re planning to visit Magic Kingdom Park, I hope you’ll be able to end your evening with some pixie dust in the sky.
Now, Randy, in order to experience all of this merriment, let’s talk about your
tickets. Unfortunately, there is NOT a payment plan if you’re purchasing tickets only. The option to put down a deposit and pay over time is only available when you book
a vacation package (tickets bundled with a Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay). Randy, since my family and I are Disney Vacation Club Members we run into this conundrum a lot and so I’ll share my tip to budget for tickets:
Disney Gift Cards! In the months leading up to our ticket purchase, we will stock up on Disney Gift Cards each time we’re running errands or stopping at the grocery store. We then will consolidate the cards (up to $1,000 per card) to use to purchase tickets (and then dining and souvenirs when we are on vacation).
Randy, while I know this likely isn’t the information you were wishing to hear, I do hope that it’s helpful as you’re planning ahead. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to come on back to your new friends hEAR at planDisney.
Wishing you a stay full of unforgettable moments!
Lauren
