What month of the year has the lightest crowds and the lowest rates at all the resorts?

    Christopher:

This is probably one of the most frequently questions I get!

Although there isn't one entire month that has the lowest crowds and best rates, in general, I would probably have to say September comes in close!  January may run a close second (if you avoid the first week and the MLK Weekend.) Followed by the first two weeks of February and late November (after Thanksgiving) to a few days before Christmas.

These months are also considered "Value Season" bringing lower prices for rooms than other times of the year when kids are out of school and families tend to vacation.  Low Price + Low Crowd = High FUN!

You can also snag a good rate on a room by checking a site like www.mousesavers.com that lists all of the deals Disney is offering.  If you're looking for a good rate, subscribe to its newsletter!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
