I will be 6 month pregnant at the time of our arrival, can I request the Disability Access Service?

    Hello, Evelyn.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, it's such a wonderful thing! I know you are going to have a great time. Be sure to take breaks when you feel the need and drink plenty of water. You can actually request free ice water at any Quick Service dining location so be sure to stay hydrated. Also, familiarize yourself where the Baby Care Centers are located in each Theme Parks. These are air conditioned rooms with plenty of comfortable seating that you can use if you need a break from the Florida sun.

The Disney Parks Disability Access Service Card is a wonderful program that's put in place so everyone can have a great time while visiting Walt Disney World. The goal of the program is to accommodate Guests who aren’t able to wait in a conventional queue environment due to a disability (including non-apparent disabilities). Every person is different and it's best to visit Guest Relations when you arrive to discuss your assistance needs. If the DAS program isn't available for you, I suggest renting a wheelchair at the parks. You'll be able to sit in your chair through most of the queues right up until it is time to board the attraction. Doing a multi-day rental when you first arrive will save you a little bit of money instead of doing it day by day.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
