Hello Catherine!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We have been a stroller family at Walt Disney World for the past 13 years. We have always brought our own stroller, mainly because we use it in the airport, but there are benefits to renting one, too, like packing light and not having to fold strollers on Disney transportation.
At the Walt Disney World theme parks, you can
rent single or double strollers. There is one kind of each and they are made of plastic and do not recline. Prices are:
Single Stroller Recommended for children 50 lbs. or less.
Daily: $15
Multi-Day (Length of Stay): $13
Double Stroller Recommended for children 100 lbs. or less.
Daily: $31
Multi-Day (Length of Stay): $27
I'm unsure whether you mean Sit and Stand strollers when you say strollers with ride along. I've seen strollers with an option for older children to stand behind and ride almost like a mini skateboard. Walt Disney World does not offer those stroller rentals. There are local companies that rent strollers like Orlando Stroller Rentals, Magic Strollers, and Kingdom Strollers. I looked at their inventory, and it seems like they only rent brands such as City Mini and BOB, but they do deliver to Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
My kids enjoy being able to rest their legs a bit when walking around the theme parks, and I love being able to use a stroller as a holder of things when the kids want to walk. I hope this helps!
Please come back and see us real soon if you have any other questions. Wishing you a smooth ride on your magical vacation!
