    i have a 16 month old and i was wondering if rainforest cafe or t-rex would be better? thanks

    This is a great question. That can be an age where surroundings can easily scare a child.  So, with that said, I do want to tell you that both restaurants are very similar in food variety and cost as well as environment and noise level.  Rainforest Cafe does have a sudden thunderstorm whereas T-Rex has a meteor shower that could frighten your 16 month old. Both occur about every 20-30 minutes. So, you may want to take that into account.  If loud atmosphere and sudden loud sounds don't ever seem to be a problem, then either would be great choices.  The main differences are the animals.  Rainforest Cafe is more jungle and rainforest animals, whereas T-Rex is obviously dinosaurs. Both are very family-friendly. I probably prefer the food at T-Rex, but that is just my personal preference. I linked to both above so that you could take a look at their menus.
