Hi! I have a 7 month old and am wondering about her carseat for getting from/to the airport and the parks. Can we belt in the carseats on the buses? What if we decide to stay at the Grand Cypress? Would a car rental be better for safety? Thanks!!

    Hi Ashley -

The first time I traveled to Walt Disney World with my children, my son was just about 7 months, so I understand your concern.  Car seats are not permitted on the Magical Express, or the resort buses, and if you are traveling with one, you'll need to check it under the coach on the Magical Express.  We decided to stick with the buses, and held our son in our lap.

I'm not sure of the official policies at the offsite resorts, but many of them use the same company as Walt Disney World (Mears transportation), for airport transfers.

It's really up to you if you decide to rent a car, but we never do.

I hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
