I Will Have A 11 Month Old By The Time I Plan My Vacation...Is There AnyThing That We Would Be Able To Do As A Family Or Should I Wait Until My Son Is Older

    Hi Shakina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The good news is that there is lots of information to help you make an informed decision. I definitely think there is plenty for you to do together as a family. My only suggestion is to take it slow with your little one. There is no way you can do it all, especially because your son might still need naps!

First, take a look at the Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones Guide. Then, think about the character experiences and shows your son might enjoy. At each park, check out the attractions list as well as the characters and entertainment lists. Use the comprehensive attractions list to filter by theme park. And review the complete list of character experiences and entertainment options. At Magic Kingdom, your son might enjoy rides like Peter Pan's Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

When my girls were younger, they were skeptical of life-sized characters. So, we waited until they were 5-years old to take them on their first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. For us, it was a perfect time to visit with them and now, we still talk about our memories from that trip. Having said that, I have witnessed lots of little ones the same age as your son in the parks. It can be delightful!

Shakina, just plan your days to include some specific character visits and attractions, use Fast Pass+ selections to minimize wait time in lines and return to the resort hotel or use a Baby Care Center to let your son take a nap when needed.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
