Hi there, Ally! Thanks for trusting the Disney Parks Moms Panel to help you plan your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort!
You can absolutely take your 9-month-old on any attraction that does not have a height restriction which is also known as any height allowed. Any height really does mean any height so even the youngest of infants can ride with an adult. On the
“Attractions” page, you can filter by “Any Height” to see the expansive list of attractions that your whole family can ride. Briefly, you can enjoy Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Pirates of the Caribbean, “it’s a small world,” Jungle Cruise, Toy Story Midway Mania, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, and so many more.
If you are traveling with another adult and you both want to ride attractions that have height restrictions, you can take advantage of
Rider Switch. When you arrive at an attraction that offers Rider Switch, simply speak to the Cast Member at the queue entrance. Your theme park tickets will be scanned and one adult or group of adults will head in to ride the attraction while the other party waits with the child outside the attraction. After the first person/group is done riding, the supervising adult and up to two others can then switch places and ride the attraction with minimal waiting.
Finally, don’t forget to utilize the
Baby Care Centers. They are wonderfully comfortable places to change diapers, feed babies, and rock them to sleep. They also sell baby essentials if you happen to run out of anything during your trip.
Please stop by again with any other questions you may have. See ya real soon!
