My 4 month old son LOVES Mickey Mouse. He will sit and just stare at the television everytime he sees Mickey. How young is too young to take a child to Disney? We're wanting to go around his 3rd birthday. Is that too young or should we wait til 6-7?

    Hi Karen!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

The first time we took our son to Walt Disney World he was just three-years-old and he had the BEST time!  He was old enough to enjoy so many things, and we have some very magical memories from that first trip.  You have plenty of time to plan your trip to make the most of your time there.

If your son loves Mickey, there are so many opportunities where he will see him!  I think you will be spending some time at the Magic Kingdom where you will see Mickey in the 3pm parade, have your photo taken with Mickey at Town Square Theater,  and dine at Chef Mickey's.  I know some of these attractions could change before your visit, but these are good examples of how your son will enjoy his favourite mouse.

If you have any more questions please come back and ask -  I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
