Can my 6 month old ride with me on my lap in certain attractions?

    Hi there, Alejandro!

Welcome to planDisney! This question is super fun for me because I’ve been taking my little one (who's 2 years old) to the Disneyland Resort multiple times in the last year and a half, and your question brings back so many wonderful memories.

My little Mouseketeer absolutely loves the King Arthur Carrousel at Disneyland Park. We've gone from him riding on my lap to commanding his very own carousel horse – it's been a joy to watch. At this park, we also enjoy "it's a small world," Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Peter Pan. These rides have given us some fantastic moments together, whether he's on my lap or right beside me.

Disney California Adventure Park is a hit too, especially The Little Mermaid - Ariel’s Undersea Adventure. This one's a winner for my little merman. The clam-mobile fits three adults comfortably, and even the little ones can cozy up on laps. At this park, our favorite rides are Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, and Toy Story Midway Mania! – so much fun! Whether it's my lap or snuggled up between me and my Prince Charming, we're all set for these rides.

Here's a handy list of all the rides and attractions with no height requirement. Super helpful when planning your visit.

And hey, if your young one is into parades, mark your calendar for the upcoming seasonal parade this fall. You won't wanna miss it with characters, floats, and catchy tunes. Keep an eye on the showtimes in the Disneyland Mobile App. By the way, if you still need to download this app, Alejandro, I highly recommend doing so. Familiarizing yourself with this app is a game-changer and will make your visit a breeze.

So, long story short, you and your little Mouseketeer have tons of options for rides in both parks. I hope I've given you some great ideas for your dream visit to The Happiest Place On Earth, Alejandro! Like Ursula from "The Little Mermaid" says, "That's what I do! It's what I live for!" So if you have any more questions before your July visit, just swim on back to ask me again! I'm here to spill all my tips and tricks to make your visit pure magic!

    See ya real soon!
