Hello, Lily! Thanks for sailing to us with your question. My pals and I are happy to see you here.
It won't be long till your vacation begins, and I'd love to help you prepare. Disney Cruise Line is ready to welcome sailors of all ages onboard, and that includes
little ones! Most staterooms have a split bathroom design, with a toilet and sink behind one door and a shower with a bathtub behind the other. If your infant needs additional support for bathing, you are welcome to bring a bathseat. You can bring it either in a suitcase that you check with porters, in your carry-on luggage, or carry it onto the ship. For security screening purposes, carry-on luggage must be no larger than 9" x 14" x 22".
I've heard of travel-friendly inflatable bathtubs or bathseats that fold up conveniently to save on space in your luggage. I remember the days of traveling with an infant, and it's amazing how many items you need to bring with you! If you wind up forgetting anything, rest assured that there are some baby essentials available for purchase on the ship. There are even complimentary amenities such as portable cribs, strollers, diaper disposal units, high chairs, and more. Simply ask your stateroom attendant if there is something you might need, and they will do their best to accommodate you.
Lily, I'm wishing you a relaxing time aboard your
Disney Cruise. While your child might not remember their first Disney Cruise, you will ALWAYS remember and hold those special memories dear for years to come.
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
