Hi Shelley! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and asking this great question.
How exciting that you're arriving at the Disneyland Resort this week! I bet you're loving every magical moment of having a little granddaughter! You are correct that because she is under the age of three, she won't need a
Theme Park Ticket. Because she doesn't need a Theme Park Ticket, she also will not need a
Theme Park Reservation.
If this will be her first visit, be sure to get a complimentary "First Visit" celebration button. You can pick one up at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in
Disneyland Park, or at Guest Services in
Disney California Adventure Park. I don't recommend she wears or holds it since there is a pointed pin, however, it is a very special souvenir. Another tip I have for you is to take advantage of using the
Baby Care Centers at the theme parks. At Disneyland Park, the Baby Care Center is at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., next to First Aid. At Disney California Adventure Park, the Baby Care Center is next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop.
I'm wishing you a magical visit at The Happiest Place on Earth with your granddaughter and I hope it's filled with many magical memories! When you have more planning questions, please stop by
planDisney again. We would be so happy to help!
Happy Planning!
Smiles,
Lisa
