Can a 14month old enjoy any of the disney magic? Should we wait until she is a little older?

    Hi Rachel,

Our youngest went to WDW for the first time when he was about 7 months, and it was wonderful to see WDW through his eyes.  He was mesmerized by all the sights and sounds.  We were able to take him on many rides; and for the faster ones, my husband and I used the baby-swap to ride those with our older sons.

I know many people often question taking younger children to WDW because they won't remember the trip.  I've always thought it is the experiences that a family shares that help to build the character within each of us.  My son enjoys seeing the pictures of his first trip and asks us questions about the trip, so he "remembers" the vacation through our stories.

So for us, taking a 14 month is something we would do without hesitation!
