Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katy!
Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up this month! You are going to make so many magical memories with your sweet little one, and I’m so, so excited for your family.
Your daughter has great taste. Moana is one of my very favorites because of her combination of adventurous spirit and deep empathy; I think she is such a fantastic role model for us all. At this time, Moana has set her course to find some brand new islands, and she is not available to meet at Walt Disney World. Hei Hei, Pua, Maui, and Moana’s other friends must be on the voyage too. My advice is to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, as that’s where any announcement will be made about Moana and friends meeting Guests at Walt Disney World. I’m sending some pixie dust that the line where the sky meets
Cinderella Castle calls Moana soon!
Katy, the good news is that your daughter can catch a glimpse of Moana during the
Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular at
Magic Kingdom Park. The Moana scene in the fireworks is so amazing – I get tears in my eyes every single time. There is also a gift shop at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort called
Moana Mercantile, and it is filled with great Moana merchandise. You could take your daughter there to choose a special souvenir, get a Dole Whip from
Pineapple Lanai downstairs, and play in the sand at the resort’s beach. There is currently a
Te Fiti cone being offered at Pineapple Lanai – it’s key lime soft serve garnished with an orchid, and is so pretty and refreshing.
I hope you have the very best time with your little Mouseketeer on your upcoming visit, Katy! Please take a look at this helpful
