Hi, Brittney!
My very first trip EVER to Walt Disney World was with my then-five-month old son and 3 1/2 year-old daughter. I am so glad that we took that trip when we did, as the photos I have of each child at that age are simply priceless.
Even just a smile on the little one's face as Winnie the Pooh gets nose to nose with her, or the joy she feels when some very fun music is played will make you smile, too. Keep in mind that there are
Baby Care Centers in each of the parks, which will be a great place for you and your daughter to take a break from the crowds should you need to do so. Changing rooms, kitchens with microwaves and sinks, even a supply of baby necessities, should you forget any, will be there waiting for you (it was such a relief for me!)
Also take a look at this post entitled "
Little Ones at Disney Theme Parks." This will give you additional tips on traveling in WDW with a baby in tow.
Again, will the baby remember the trip? Of course not...but
you will, and you'll have so many wonderful memories and photos of your little one's smiling face at this most precious time in her life...she's turning one!
Wishing your little princess a very happy first birthday from all of us on the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them, Brittney! We love to help!
