I have a 10 month old and we use a backpack style child carrier for him (he's a big boy). Will I be allowed to bring the carrier into the park even if it is larger than than the allowed size? For clarity, it is an Osprey child carrier.

    Hi Amanda!

I remember taking my daughter to Walt Disney World Resort when she was that age. It is one of the best times to expose your little one to the magic because even though they may not remember it, you will cherish the memories of their looks and excitement for years to come.

I can understand wanting to ensure you can carry your baby in the theme parks to give them the chance to see everything around them from a different viewpoint. However, per Walt Disney World’s Prohibited Items list, “Suitcases, bags, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high are not allowed in any theme park, water park or NBA Experience.” The backpack carriers are not permitted on the attractions, so perhaps a more compact backpack will work. Either way, you are going to love every minute of your visit with your baby, so be sure to take plenty of pictures.

    Have a magical experience!
