SHOULD I TAKE MY 13 MONTH OLD BABY?

Absolutely!  My own children and then my grandchildren all made their first visits to Walt Disney World before their first birthday.  I wouldn't trade those memories of special moments with any other Disney memory that happened during later visits.  I am actually here at the moment on a vacation and happened to see a little one year old taking some of her first steps at dinner.  The smiles on her face and the little Mickey doll she held was a priceless photo opportunity for her family.

As the children grow their itineraries change as to what they enjoy and want to participate in but I have never regretted the trips with them when they were younger.  There are many things you can do to help make the trip more enjoyable and easy.  Be aware of the Baby Care Centers in each park as they are great places to stop and cool off if nothing else.  Supplies can be bought at each one as well as the resort gift stores.  Another option is to ship all your baby needs ahead to the resort or use a delivery service such as gardengrocer.com.  I have used them and have been extremely pleased.

Let the magic begin for your little one.  Take a picture in a special spot in one of the parks and then do the same on future trips so you can look back and see how the children grow!
