Hi Carolyn,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!
My little guy has loathed using a stroller at home since he was about 18 months old. While that has allowed him to have surprising endurance for long walks here, it’s certainly not ideal for visits to Walt Disney World Resort where each day involves travelling many more miles per day than is usual for the average person or toddler.
Unfortunately, wagons, cars or tricycles are
Restricted Personal Items that aren’t allowed in Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, Water Parks or transportation (including buses). But, there is hope for your little ones! My son may not love a stroller at home, but he certainly does when head off for a day of adventure. You can
rent a stroller when you arrive in any Walt Disney World Theme Park.
I would recommend trying one for a single day rental and, if that works, either get a Multi-Day rental OR go with a Disney Featured Provider for the rest of your stay. I highly recommend Kingdom Strollers - we use them for almost all of our visits and it’s been great to have a stroller that can go from our hotel room straight to the parks… especially when you’re heading home at night!
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
