I was also really sad to hear that
Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! was going to be saying farewell to Guests. That movie has such a special place in my daughter’s life. We were lucky to ride it during our visit earlier this fall, but we likely won’t make it out again before it's gone. Speaking of which, I spoke to a Cast Member, and unfortunately, an official closing date for the attraction hasn’t been announced yet. While it's likely to still be open during the first week of January at this point, you may want to double-check the website and
Disney Parks Blog before your trip just to make sure nothing has changed.
I wish I had more definitive news, Angela, but I truly hope that this attraction is operating during your visit. It would break my mama heart for your little one to miss riding it a final time. One last thing: I know it is a little way away, but once Walt Disney World Resort opens its
