    When is Monsters Inc closing in 2026

    Hi Tinter! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us another question!

    Change can be hard, and I'm sad that Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! will be closing its doors. While an exact date hasn't been shared, the closure is planned for early 2026. Even though the Laugh Floor won't remain at Disney California Adventure Park, the laughter and memories definitely will. I hope you can visit before it closes, and plan a future visit when the new Avatar-themed land opens. 

    You might also consider planning a vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth, Walt Disney World when the new Monsters, Inc. Land opens at Disney's Hollywood Studios! You can learn more about the plans for Monsters, Inc. Land in this article from Disney Parks Blog.
