Hi Fahed!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to see you have a trip planned for this fall. It's one of my favorite times of year to visit with the parks full of festive decorations and seasonal activities like
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The dates for the
2024 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival were also just released on the Disney Parks Blog last week. I hope you have a chance to stop by and explore all that is offered during this special event!
Fahed, I think you'll find Walt Disney World Resort to be very accessible for individuals who use mobility scooters. You'll be happy to know that the
monorail can accommodate guests using a scooter. When you arrive at the station, you can use a ramp or elevator (if available) to access the loading platform. A Cast Member will help direct you to an accessible loading area and, before you know it, you'll be off on your next adventure! If you plan to use the
Disney Skyliner during your visit, you'll also be able to board an aerial gondola without any concerns. Disney has additional
accessibility information for each of its
complimentary transportation options available online. There is also information available on
accessing ride queues that you may find helpful as you plan for your vacation!
If you need to
rent an ECV during your stay, you'll find a selection available at each of the theme parks and Disney Springs. Rentals are available at a daily rate and on a first-come, first-served basis. These daily rentals cannot leave the park, but Disney's featured partner, ScooterBug, has rentals available for the length of stay that can be delivered to your
Disney Resort hotel. You are also welcome to bring your own personal mobility scooter as well. If you are bringing your personal scooter, you will want to check the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules to confirm that it meets the required specifications.
Fahed, I hope this information helps you prepare for a wonderful visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please feel free to stop by again if you have any other vacation planning questions - we're all ears!
Cheers,
Kristi
