Hello, do the monorail stations at Disneyland in California have elevator access?

Hello, Marilyn, and welcome to planDisney! I love the Disneyland Monorail. It's a great way to travel between Disneyland and the Downtown Disney District. Let's talk about getting to and from this iconic attraction.

Marilyn, there are two Monorail stations at the Disneyland Resort, and I'm happy to report that they both have elevator access! The Downtown Disney District station is located at the end closer to the Disneyland Hotel. I love boarding the Monorail there and riding into Disneyland. The other station is located inside the park in Tomorrowland, and this station also has a ramp. A complete round trip takes approximately 13 minutes, and you can either get off halfway or continue riding to make a complete loop. I've done both, depending on whether I was using it as a means of transportation or just riding it for fun.

Marilyn, did you know that the Disneyland Resort has access options for Guests visiting the parks with mobility disabilities? Visit the website to learn about different tools available for boarding various attractions, safety guidelines, and more. You can also view attractions on a map in the Disneyland mobile app and filter based on mobility or physical considerations.

You should get extra excited, Marilyn, because you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort shortly after the 70th Anniversary Celebration kicks off! There will be special entertainment, colorful decorations, food and drinks, collectible merchandise, and more. This includes the much-anticipated return of the Paint the Night parade and an all-new World of Color experience! The Disney Parks Blog has a comprehensive guide that you can explore!

Your magical visit to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner, Marilyn. Can you already smell the popcorn and hear the Disneyland Band performing? If you have any other questions in advance of your trip, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
