Hi Erika,
Nothing says "you have arrived at Walt Disney World Resort" like a ride on the iconic
resort monorail. In my opinion, no vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth is complete without it. Wouldn't you agree?
The resort monorails that stop at
Disney's Contemporary Resort always travel in a clockwise direction around Seven Seas Lagoon. After stopping at Disney's Contemporary Resort, they stop at the Ticket & Transportation Center,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and then Magic Kingdom Park. It takes just a few minutes between stops.
Of course, if you're looking for a more direct route from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom Park, there's a pedestrian walkway between the two. I particularly love to take that path in the early morning on days when the outdoor temperatures are not terribly high.
Whichever route you choose, have a spectacular day in Magic Kingdom Park.
Best wishes,
Jill
