Can I take the MONORAIL for a round trip ride just for the experience or do I actually have to get off at a certain destination?

    Hi Mike!

Yes!  You can absolutely ride the monorail just for the experience and I encourage you to do just that!  In my opinion Disney's monorail is more than a form of transportation, it is an attraction itself.  The monorail runs on three loops:

    • Express Loop- this loop runs directly from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Magic Kingdom with no stops.
    • Resort Loop- this loop runs clockwise stopping at Magic Kingdom, Contemporary Resort, Transportation and Ticket Center, Polynesian Resort and the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
    • Epcot Loop- this loop runs from the Transportation and Ticket Center directly to Epcot.  This is probably my favorite loop because part of the track actually runs through the park itself, which is does not do in the Magic Kingdom.
Riding the monorail is also a great way for a cool rest on those hot Florida days and I love riding through the Contemporary.  Go ahead take in the scenery and have fun riding Disney's monorail!

I hope you have a magical vacation and please let me know if I can help with any of your vacation planning.

    Best Wishes!
