Hey Jeannette!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney. We’re so glad you’re here!
It must be so exciting to be planning your birthday trip at the Walt Disney World Resort next year. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate! The Monorail Resort area is my absolute favorite and I spend a lot of time in that area whenever we visit. Honestly, any Deluxe Resort you stay at is going to be wonderful and the Monorail Resorts are all a quick ride away from each other. I think it really comes down to preference and what you want for your stay.
If I had to choose one, I would have to choose
Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. I love those Island Tiki vibes and I find myself at
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto every trip for some unique food and drinks inspired by the South Pacific. Last time I was there Trader Sam, the HEADsalesman, was offering a two for one deal. Two of his heads for one of yours! Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is also home to
‘Ohana where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner with Hawaiian hospitality. It’s definitely one of my favorites.
You’ll find the best food and shopping at
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. From the quick service at
Gasparilla Island Grill to fine dining at
Narcoossee’s (my favorite and perfect for celebrating), you're sure to have some of the best food on property. The shopping there is amazing and I can’t forget about the salon and spa services at their on site
spa. The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian & Spa is just one stop over on the Monorail from Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows so you’ll get there in no time. We usually like to take the Monorail over and then take the walking path back after dinner. It’s a beautiful and serene 10 minute walk along the water.
I’ve never stayed at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort but I do visit often. One of my favorite places in all of Walt Disney World is
Top of the World Lounge. The view of Cinderella Castle is simply amazing and the bartenders make the best drinks. If you ever find yourself there please make sure to try the Seven Layer Cake, it’s to die for! You’ll also enjoy a super quick walk to
Magic Kingdom Park which could be very important to you.
Well Jeannette, as you can see every resort has something amazing to offer and it will be a tough choice for sure. You may have to make your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort a yearly thing for your birthday and try them all out!
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
