Hi Kathy! All aboard! It’s time to discuss Disney's “highway in the sky” – the Monorail!
The
Monorail runs on a loop connecting several locations. Those locations, in order, include - the Ticket and Transportation Center, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Magic Kingdom Park, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort! The Monorail loop goes around Seven Seas Lagoon. An additional line, available at the Ticket and Transportation Center, will take Guests to EPCOT!
Kathy, the Monorail is considered complimentary transportation for Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort. You may board and exit at any of the locations mentioned above. My family’s favorite resort is Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. We find ourselves as frequent riders of the Monorail. We love the ease of boarding at our resort and then arriving at
Magic Kingdom Park as our next stop! The Monorail will drop you off at the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park! You'll exit the Monorail, go down the ramp, go through the turnstiles with your theme park admission, and as Walt said, "...leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy."
Come on back to planDisney with more questions, Kathy! We're all EARS!
Dreams do come true!
