Can I take the monorail from Magic Kingdom to Epcot? And vice/ versa. Trying to work out dinning. Thank you

    Hi, Danielle!

You can get to Epcot from the Magic Kingdom via the monorail.  Take the Express Monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the TTC.  Transfer to the Epcot monorail. Allow about 40 minutes for the entire ride as there may be wait time for your monorails to arrive.

Once at Epcot, remember that it is quite a long walk to World Showcase if that is where you are planning to dine.  Allow another 30 minutes for bag check, scanning MagicBands, and the walk to the back of the park.

Another option is to hop on a bus at the Magic Kingdom heading to the Beach Club. From there, you can take the less than 10 minute walk to the International Gateway of Epcot which brings you right into World Showcase.

These routes can of course be reversed.  Traveling between parks does take a bit of time, so allow plenty of travel time. Also, remember that to switch parks mid-day you will need to have the Park Hopper option on your tickets.

Have a great time dining around Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
