Epcot and monorail at night

Can I get on the monorail at Epcot without a park ticket? Eg: Skyliner from Pop Century to Epcot and then monorail from Epcot to Magic Kingdom. Is this possible if our park reservation is only for Magic Kingdom? Any other suggestions other than bus?

Welcome to planDisney, Ricki! Thanks so much for floating by with your question today. One of the things I love the most about a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is that there is an extensive and complimentary transportation system that gives me so many options to get from where I am to where I'm going. Relaxing and letting someone else do the driving really makes me feel like I'm on vacation!

While the EPCOT monorail station is located at the front of the Theme Park, the Disney Skyliner station is located at the International Gateway entrance. The only way to get between these stations is to walk through EPCOT, so you would not be able to transfer between the monorail and the Disney Skyliner without admission. If you're staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort, the best way to get to Magic Kingdom Park is by using the bus, which you can catch outside of Classic Hall. It's a direct bus ride that usually takes fewer than 15 minutes, so you'll be there quicker than you can say, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"

One of the perks of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel is that your bus will drop you off at the Magic Kingdom Park bus loop, which is right outside the gates to the Theme Park. Guests staying off-site need to first go to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then catch a monorail or the ferry boat, so you're getting the best, most direct method of transportation there is! If you know for sure that you are not interested in taking the bus, you also have the option of ordering a Minnie Van through the Lyft app, and a friendly Disney Cast Member will pick you up at your Resort Hotel and drop you off at the bus loop at Magic Kingdom Park.

I hope this answers your question, Ricki, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
