Hi Sujie! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm so thrilled to hear that you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up soon AND that you'll be staying at the magical
Disneyland Hotel! My family absolutely adores the Disneyland Hotel! Because it opened only months after Disneyland Park, the Disneyland Hotel holds that incredible Disney history with today’s modern style and, don't tell the others, but it's my favorite
Disneyland Resort Hotel. You picked a good one, Sujie!
But let's get to your great question! The
Disneyland Monorail is considered a
Disneyland Park attraction so a theme park ticket, as well as a
park reservation for that day, will be required. For
Early Entry, you'll also need your hotel key. In my experience, the Disneyland Monorail is usually scheduled to open at the official start time of Disneyland Park's Early Entry. So, yes, you should be able to take advantage of the Disneyland Monorail to zoom into Tomorrowland after Early Entry begins! (Be aware that ride closures are always a possibility, however!)
Currently Early Entry for Disneyland Park occurs on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays but definitely double check the
theme park calendar to confirm Early Entry dates, as well as park opening times. I would then plan to arrive at the monorail station around 20-30 minutes before Early Entry begins, to be one of the first in line - which shouldn't be too hard since getting to the monorail station is only about a five-minute stroll from the Disneyland Hotel.
Quick Tip: Kindly ask a Cast Member when boarding the monorail if there is room up front in the "nose cone" with the driver or in the back! Both offer a pretty spectacular riding experience, if they're available!
Sometime during your magical stay at the Disneyland Hotel, Sujie, make sure to check out the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad diorama in the Frontier Tower Lobby. The diorama was built to a 1/4" to 1' scale of Frontierland's famous coaster and is a recreation of the original model used by Imagineers in the 1970s to create Big Thunder. It's incredible and my family, including two young sons, can't get enough of taking in every little detail.
I hope this information has been helpful in your planning, Sujie. As you're preparing for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please stop by and
ask me another question anytime! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like maybe my not-to-be-missed
Halloween treats or some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priority attractions.
See you real soon!
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
