Is the monorail and other Disney transportation only available to resort guests? We are staying off the property in a timeshare and would like to know if we can take advantage of the Disney transportation system since we will be purchasing a park hop pass.

Hi!! Yes, absolutely!!  The Disney Transportation System is available to all guests of Walt Disney World.  You are considered a guest even if you don't stay on-site.  The Resort includes all of the parks.  My kids love to ride the monorail.  Be sure to ask about riding in the front of the monorail car and earn a co pilots license.  The buses will allow you to get to the water parks, Downtown Disney, and the Resort hotels.  The Resort hotels have some really neat restaurants.  I hope you have a fabulous trip!!!!  Heather M.
