Hi Jaime,
Thank you for sending your great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of my favourite parts of arriving on Walt Disney World Resort property is seeing the Monorail for the first time, once it is in sight, I know I'm home!
The Monorail connects guests from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. The Resort loop will also transport guests to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. No matter where you are, Walt Disney World Resort provides
complimentary transportation for guests around the entire property.
Depending on where you are traveling and if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, driving may be the quicker option. From each of the Theme Parks, there is Theme Park to Theme Park transportation via bus monorail or boat, however at the end of the night it may take a long time getting back to your point of origin.
Personally, if I was staying off property and driving to Walt Disney World Resort, I would park at each of the Theme Parks because it requires less time for travel and I feel it is more convenient. On the other hand if I was staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, I would use Disney Transportation, such as the buses, Monorail and boats. Transportation between Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and Theme Parks are convenient and hassle free.
I hope that helps answer your question, Jaime. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to assist in planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
