I will monorail or boat to visit Magic Kingdom. Is it better to go through Disney Hollywood Studio to return to Disney Art of Animation? I don't have park hopper, but want to take advantage of all modes of transpo to get to & from resort and park.

    Hi Emily,

Autumn at Walt Disney World Resort is a beautiful time of the year to visit. Right after Halloween ends, the whole Resort starts to get ready to celebrate the Holiday Season

We typically drive from New Jersey and I used to insist on using my car to go to the Theme Parks and take advantage of complimentary standard parking, one of the many Disney Resort Hotel Guest Benefits. But then I realized that if I wanted to fully take advantage of the Park Hopper Option, I should instead rely on the complimentary Resort Transportation, such as Walt Disney World Bus Service, Walt Disney World Water Transportation, and the world-renowned Walt Disney World Monorail System.

But coming this Fall, a new option will become available. Disney Skyliner will take you across the sky in Aerial Gondolas, including a stop at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Although we don't have a start date yet, it should be soon. Best is to keep an eye for announcements at the Disney Parks Blog.

One last tip: the My Disney Experience mobile app now includes real-time bus information from your Resort Hotel. So be sure to download or update it before you arrive to the Resort. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
