Monina, I'm a norteast Ohioian myself and I'm planning my first trip to Disney with my Husband and Kids. Can tell me what airlines has the best service to Orlando from Cleveland. Have you ever flown out of Akron/Canton?

    Hello Stacy,

I don't know about you, but I know I've gotten a bit of Florida fever this past week as the sun finally came out over my house!

How exciting to be planning your family's first trip to Disney. But I've been looking at airline prices too, and they can be quite overwhelming. Because of where we live, it's easiest for our family travel out of Cleveland. So I don't have much experience with CAK. I have only flown out of there once. But, I do know many people that swear by it - if you can easily travel out of Akron-Canton, you might want to consider it. While there is no non-stop flight to Orlando from CAK, the flights tend to be significantly cheaper. And because of sheer size and volume, it's easier to navigate through the terminal.

Out of Cleveland, I have booked travel with several airlines. It drives my husband crazy! But I'm a stickler when it comes to cost. When you book at the "right" time, Continental will have some great deals. And they offer several non-stop flights. And I haven't - knock on wood - had many problems with delays. I have flown on Delta and Southwest as well, both requiring connecting flights. This obviously adds to your travel time, so if you are flying down for a short trip, I'd definitely recommend searching for a non-stop.

Hope this helps. If I can help answer any other questions, just let me know!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
